About our speaker: Kory Meyerink specializes in the colonial northeast and tracing the origins of German and Dutch immigrants. He has developed instructional and reference material for FamilySearch Centers and was content consultant for the PBS Ancestors television series. Kory taught history for 20 years at Brigham Young University and was the founding director of the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy (SLIG). He has written extensively, including his recent book, New York in 1698. Kory currently serves as a Master Genealogist and Senior Research Manager with AncestryProGenealogists.
