About our program: The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) are two long-standing lineage societies dedicated to preserving the legacy of Revolutionary War ancestors. Members of these organizations trace their ancestry back to individuals who played a role in the American Revolution. Both DAR and SAR are committed to promoting patriotism, education, and community service.
